Alternating red and black print on title page. Begins with Vitae, including quotations from Tristia 1.7, e.g.; then Tabula Alphabetica (with illuminated initials). On the verso before the start of the text there are warning verses of Petrus Lauinius, and a map of zones and winds. Each book is headed by a small, sometimes christianizing engraving (e.g. f. Ir, XXVIIv). There are irregular marginalia, cropped on f. LXXIVv, but preserved by folding in of the margin before cropping on f. CIVr. Some worming.
