 | Mohammad Emami Persian Studies Section Co-ordinator I joined the library team in April 2014 to work at the Persian Section, shortly after I submitted my PhD thesis on Persian literary translation at the University of St Andrews. I have worked in the fields of Persian linguistics and Iranian contemporary literature for many years, but also in academic libraries with Persian manuscripts, lithographs, and printed books. |

I'm currently a doctoral student at Merton, studying Early Modern History, with a particular focus on religious culture at the Elizabethan and Jacobean Courts.
