Please be careful in using the library, particularly on the stairs, or when using kickstools. Don't reach too far to the left or the right when you are standing on a kickstool. Get off, move the kickstool along, and get back on again!

Remember that if you are carrying a big pile of books in front of you, you can't see your feet!

Please do familiarize yourself with the fire exits, and where they are located. Please don't leave any items in the main aisles of the library, which are emergency exit routes.

Remember, there is a dedicated emergency phone by the entrance that connects immediately through to the Lodge, being a priority line.

Please don't leave valuables, including laptops, unattended in the library
