The toilet in the library is gender-neutral and wheelchair accessible. To open the door hold your university card against the reader to the right of the door. If the small red light on the reader is flashing it means that the toilet is engaged. A constant red light indicates that the toilet is available.
Once you have tapped your card please don't try to pull the door open but just let it open automatically. Similarly please allow the door to shut again in its own time. It takes 12 seconds to open and close, to allow for wheelchair access.
Once inside, to lock the door just touch the stainless steel lock button on the wall (do make sure the door has shut fully). To unlock the door again, just touch the stainless steel button again.
There is an emergency pull cord inside the toilet which sounds at the Lodge.
